U-Passes are now live and we thank you for your patience and participation this fall.
If farebox does not accept your U-Pass, bus drivers will accept your Peggo card as a flash pass when used together with your student ID with the U-Pass sticker. Drop by Info Booth to get a replacement card.

If you already have health insurance, you can choose to opt-out of the UWSA Health Plan.
You can also customize your plan by filling out an Opt-Change form.
You must opt-out and opt-change by Sept. 19!
The UWSA Health Plan will be under a blackout period until September 20th. This means claims submission and online services will be down while we work to get students enrolled. If you incur a claim during the blackout period, you will need to wait until after the 20th to claim it back and you will be paid out retroactively.
Thanks for your patience and remember you have until Setpember 19th to change your health plan using the opt change form or opting-out online at the link below.

The UWSA Bike Lab is a bicycle repair and learning facility that provides service and outreach to both students and the community on and around the UW campus. The mandate of the Bike Lab is to develop mechanical ability among users, empowering them to use bicycles as a viable form of transportation. The Bike Lab is operated by the UWSA, and funded by students at the University of Winnipeg.
The Bike Lab Volunteer Coordinator takes direction from the Bike Lab General Coordinator (who acts as day-today management on behalf of the Sustainability & Wellness Coordinator)

The film screening is a fundraiser for a Youth Climate Summit on Sept 16-19th at the Turtle Lodge in Sagkeeng, called Onjisay Aki, which means the Earth is Changing. Check out the website here and join the Facebook event here. There are also T-shirts for sale for $15, proceeds go towards the Youth Climate Summit.
Use the hashtag #OnjisayAki on social media and $5 will be donated to The Turtle Lodge from the International Institute for Sustainable Development.

UWSA President, Kevin Settee, is presenting the Indigenous Course Requirement at McGill University alongside Milene Lokou from AELIÈS University of Laval as part of the World Social Forum.

Info Booth will be closed on Aug. 11, 12 and 15 for construction.
Students can pick-up their U-Passes at index on those days. index is located in the North-East corner of Lockhart Hall and they are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Info Booth will re-open Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m.

U-Pass is now available for pick-up from the UWSA Info Booth located in Centennial Hall on the first-floor. The UWSA Info Booth is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
