Women’s and Gender Studies Students Association (WGSSA)
Our purpose is to create community and safe space for students interested in or a part of WGS. We support students’ academic journeys (study groups, mentorship, peer review, reading groups). This group will benefit students who wish to have more in depth conversations around relevant topics relating to gender, race, class, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, and more. We believe that no other group takes an intersectional, analytical, and academic approach to exploring culture and society at its core. This kind of group promotes critical thinking and analysis skills in an environment that fosters community
Membership: Anyone can participate in WGSSA activities, meetings, or events. It is not required to be a Women’s and Gender Studies student to join us.
