Game Studies Society (GSS)

The Game Studies Society is a community for people interested in learning about games. We study games of all different types, such as board games, video games, card games, tabletop RPGs, and sports. Our goal is to educate people on these games and their design and creation, as well as the benefits they have. We have created an inclusive and welcoming community where everyone can come together and enjoy games.

Membership: All students are welcome to join, and it is completely free. You can join our Discord & Instagram and attend our weekly game nights as well as our various events held throughout the year.

Meetings: Weekly game nights are typically held in person from 5 pm to 9 pm every Monday in room 3G11, the tutoring centre, but may alternatively be held in the UWSA Game Lounge.
