When does my UWSA Health Plan end?
The plan goes until the end of the summer, August 31st. If you’re graduating this spring or not enrolled in spring courses, you’ll still be covered until August 31st.

Join us for an evening to celebrate the life of Jennifer Logan, an amazing young woman who devoted herself to helping people around the world and spreading love and compassion for others. Jenn passed away suddenly at the age of 32 while on a retreat in the Peruvian rainforest. The event is from 9 p.m. -2 a.m. featuring DG Mama Cutsworth and the Janzen Boys! All the proceeds for a scholarship fund will go to help refugee students in the University of Winnipeg that came through WUSC program. Join us for an evening of celebration and support a great cause!
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door (this includes a slice of pizza).
Tickets are for sale at the University of Winnipeg Info Booth.
If you are unable to come to the event, please consider donating to the Scholarship fund at the University of Winnipeg Foundation. Please be sure to specify that it is for the Jennifer Logan Memorial Scholarship.
ALSO, ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE 50/50 DRAW WILL GO TO RELIEF EFFORTS FOR THE NEPAL EARTHQUAKE!

There isn’t a single deadline for when you can make a claim each school year. You have 12 months from the date of the claim – the day you went to the doctor, dentist, or professional – to send the receipts and General Claim Form to Green Shield.
Don’t stress about getting your claim forms in during exams, send them in when you’re completely finished the term.

The UWSA Health Plan covers you until the end of the summer!
All plans, regardless of what term you started classes, go until August 31st, 2015. If you’re graduating or not taking courses this Spring Term, your plan will still go until August 31st.
Contact your Health Plan Coordinator about options for health coverage for next year if you’re graduating, or won’t be taking courses. Green Shield offers plans for people who are losing their health plan, so long as you apply within 60 days of it ending.
