International Students can now join the U of W Work-Study Program

September 18th, 2015

Working while in school can be tough, especially if it’s off campus. The University of Winnipeg offers a Work-Study Program which employs students at the U of W on a part-time basis in its departments. Previously, this was only open to domestic students. As your students’ union, we requested this program be open to international students and now, we are happy to announce that international students are eligible for the program.

Along with the university, we work at providing quality employment opportunities for students in our service centres and retail spaces, and that’s why we’ve instituted a living wage policy.

If you’re interested in the Work-Study Program at the University, you can check out the link on their website here.
