Black Scientists Network (BSN)

The Black Scientists Network (BSN) is a dynamic student-led organization at the University of Winnipeg, created to foster community and support for Black students in STEM fields. In affiliation with the Canadian Black Scientists Network (CBSN), BSN aims to provide opportunities for mentorship, academic guidance, and career development, with a special focus on connecting students to summer research and job opportunities. Through regular meetings, workshops, and networking events, BSN creates a platform for members to collaborate, share resources, and build connections with faculty and professionals in various scientific fields. With a mission to empower and elevate Black voices in science, BSN is dedicated to helping students succeed both academically and professionally.

Membership: Any student in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
