Black Academic Network (BAN)

Supported by the Centre for Research in Cultural Studies (CRiCS), Black Academic Network is a student group for and by Black-identifying students in any and all fields of study. This student group strives to be a place for Black students to find community and connection at the University of Winnipeg. The Network holds meetings and events throughout the year that celebrate members’ Black heritage (which comes in many forms!) and act as a place for Black students to network, form friendships, and find support as students.
