More Than a Door
This campaign aims to assess the accessibility needs and limitations that students who use mobility aids face on campus, research the issue, raise awareness, and present a final report with recommendations to the University administration.
While working in collaboration with the University of Winnipeg, we have increased the number of accessible doors on campus, limiting the challenges students with disabilities face on campus.

Zero Textbook Cost Courses
During the academic 2021-22 year, the UWSA Executive team began work on the Zero Textbook Cost initiative that advocated that The University of Winnipeg start using Open Education Resources (OERs). They successfully collaborated with The University of Winnipeg Library and the U of W Faculty Departments to get multiple courses to implement these resources for 2022-23.
