Sath Student Association (SSA)
The Sath Student Association welcomes all students who want to be part of a friendly and supportive community at the University of Winnipeg. The name Sath comes from a Punjabi word that describes a place in villages where people sit together to talk, share laughter, and support one another. Just like a village Sath, this association believes that no one should feel alone. It aims to bring students from different cultures together and create a space beyond the classroom where friendships can grow. Sath will especially support international students who are far from home by helping them feel included and valued. The association will focus on togetherness, shared growth, and mutual care, making sure every student feels respected, connected, and part of a community that truly cares.
Membership: The Sath Student Association welcomes all students who want to be part of a supportive and happy community. Membership is open to all students of the University of Winnipeg. Whether a student is looking for a way to manage stress, wants to meet new friends, or wants to help others, there is a place for them here. There is no membership fee to join, because just like a real family, we don’t charge an entry fee to belong. Students interested in becoming members can connect with the association by reaching out through email or its social media platforms.
