University of Winnipeg Biology Students’ Association (UWBSA)

The University of Winnipeg Biology Students’ Association (UWBSA) is a volunteer student group established to represent and advocate for science students on campus. The UWBSA aims to provide students with a sense of community, a space to advance their interests in biology, and promote collaboration with other student groups and organizations.

Membership: Any attending University of Winnipeg student who has taken a course in the department of Biology. To become a Member At Large of Bio Club, the prospective Member At Large must meet the general membership criteria. The prospective Member At Large must submit their full name and email address to the Executive to be entered into the Membership At Large roll. In addition, the prospective Member At Large must attend two consecutive meetings and be in good standing with the Bio Club. Members At Large lose their title upon missing a Bio Club meeting without notifying a member of the Executive.

Meetings: Meetings will be held bi-monthly in a hybrid format. Our general meetings will be announced over Instagram and on our group chat.
