University of Winnipeg Pre-Med Society (UWPMS)

UWPMS is a student-led group that caters to undergrads who are interested in pursuing medicine. Our goal is to maintain a safe, informative and inclusive community for pre-meds. Through MCAT prep sessions, medical school student and admissions panels, we aim to help students learn more about various medical schools and prepare for applications. We also offer networking/mentorship programs that help to build connections between individuals in medicine. Lastly, UWPMS supports and holds fundraiser events for various health-related organizations, such as Cancer Care Manitoba, to promote research and advocate for issues in medicine.
