The Rainbow Lounge is a safe, social space, open to all students with an open and inclusive view of sexuality and gender diversity.
The centre holds weekly meetings on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. (during free period) during the Fall/Winter Terms.
Feel free to drop in anytime to study or to hang out.
You can browse and borrow from our library, which is host to books about social issues, health, sexuality, gender identity, religion, and family relationships.
You can visit the centre to get safer sex supplies including condoms, lube, and dental dams.
We also provide pamphlets, articles, magazines, videos, and community newspapers.
The Rainbow Lounge also acts as a referral network to the larger Queer community, particularly within Winnipeg. A large part of what the centre does is educate, support and organize events, both on and off campus, in the hopes of promoting positive attitudes towards LGBTTQ* people.
