University of Winnipeg Psychology Students’ Association (UWPSA)
The University of Winnipeg Psychology Student Association (UWPSA) is a group dedicated to building community, connection, and curiosity among psychology students. We host academic, social, and wellness-focused events throughout the year. From Faculty-Student Mixers and guest lectures to mental health discussions and fun campus socials. Our goal is to support students in navigating their psychology degrees while creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, and personal growth. The UWPSA offers a welcoming space to learn, share ideas, and get involved.
Membership: Members are typically Psychology or Neuroscience Majors and Minors within the university; however any University of Winnipeg student is welcome to join!
How to become a member: Just stop by the Psychology Department office at Office: 5L30: Lockhart Hall, and speak with Carolyn Smallwood to pay the $5 membership fee.
Once that’s done, you’ll be added to our roster. What membership entails: Access to the UWPSA student lounge Access to workshops, panels, and social events Priority for volunteer opportunities and mentorship programs Voting rights in elections and by-elections Updates on research opportunities and department news
