UWSA Spaces

• Starting January 12, 2026 – UWSA All Bookable Spaces Weekend Hours:
  • Saturdays – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The UWSA manages bookable event spaces for UWinnipeg students and community members. Spaces are free for UW students, but charges for staff and equipment rentals may apply. Most spaces are open to the public to use as a hangout spot.

UWSA Boardroom

• Maximum capacity: 30 people
• Great for: student group meetings, board meetings, presentations, and interviews.
• Starting January 12, 2026 Weekend Bookable Hours:
  • Saturdays – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Bulman Student Centre

• Maximum capacity: 175 people
• Great for: cultural shows, talent shows, fundraisers, conferences, large film screenings, and more!
• Starting January 12, 2026 Weekend Bookable Hours:
  • Saturdays – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Hive

• Maximum capacity: 50 people
• Great for: Film screenings, meetings, open-mics, presentations, workshops, and more!
• Starting January 12, 2026 Weekend Bookable Hours:
  • Saturdays – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Gaming Lounge (non-bookable space)

• This space is great for hanging out, playing games, and relaxing.

Student Lounge (non-bookable space)

• This space is great for hanging out, studying, and relaxing.
