Though it operates primarily in conjunction with Harvest Manitoba\, the Foodbank actively seeks additional donations from university groups and other community-based organizations.\nCheck-in begins at 2:00 p.m. every Friday in the Bulman Student Centre. Please arrive no later than 3:00 p.m. to check-in. Food distribution for registered clients starts at 3:00 p.m.\nWalk-ins are welcome. Walk-in clients are served in a lottery draw system and must check-in between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Walk-in distribution begins at 3:30 p.m.  Unfortunately\, we cannot guarantee food quantities for walk-ins.\nStudents and community members can sign up for UWSA Foodbank by calling Harvest Manitoba at 204-982-3660 or emailing appointments@harvestmanitoba.ca. DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Lounge and the QSA are so happy to announce our 2Spirit and Trans Day of Visibility event!! We did this last year and it was so amazing to have our community come together. This year\, we’ve prepared even more festivities for you! \nStarting at 10am\, we’ll have a raising of the trans flag and a rally on the front lawn of the school. Then\, you’ll be invited to The Hive for pizza and donuts (gluten-free and vegetarian options available). There will also be queer-focused school organizations / student groups tabling for students to chat with. At 12:30\, we’ll be screening the iconic Paris is Burning\, and then hanging out until 2pm! The lunch is drop-in\, so feel free to come and go as you please 🙂
