DESCRIPTION:This year\, UWinnipeg is proud to host the  (ACMP) 2026 Black History Month event\, Black Narratives Leading Communities: Action\, Vision & Change\, along with RRC Polytech\, University of Manitoba\, and RBC. \nThis event will celebrate the Black African Diaspora community in Canada and pay homage to the great accomplishments of the Black African Diaspora people throughout history\, leading to the present. The event will involve panel discussions\, Black business showcases\, bursaries for Black African Diaspora students (secondary and post-secondary Winnipeg students)\, recognition for trailblazers in the Black African Diaspora Winnipeg community\, entertainment\, and a catered meal. \nThe event takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. on February 27 in several locations across campus\, including Riddell Hall\, 3C00\, the Bulman Centre\, and the Riddell atrium. DESCRIPTION:Youth Climate Lab Eco-Collage Workshop by Campus Sustainability Office and Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) \nAt Collaging Climate Emotions participants will be guided through a series of activities and conversations to explore and process their climate-related emotions. As a group\, we will have a short discussion on the futures we wish to build. Participants will then be invited to create a collage based on their vision of a just\, climate-resilient future. Together\, we will breathe\, dream\, and envision futures rooted in collective liberation and climate resilience. \nThis workshop will be facilitated by the Youth Climate Lab\, who engages youth in creating a just\, climate-resilient future.
