International Student Identity Card (ISIC)

Since becoming members of the Canadian Federation of Students in the 1980s, the UWSA has been issuing ISIC’s free to all full time students at the University of Winnipeg. Come down to the UWSA’s Info Booth to get your free International Student Identity Card today.

The ISIC is the only internationally recognised proof of full-time student status in the world and is a student travel discount card in 70 countries worldwide, including Canada. If travelling abroad, the ISIC provides discounts on accommodation, admission to historical sites and museums, and transportation.

In Canada, full-time students receive 30% off regular economy fare travel on VIA Rail with the ISIC.
