Sex and Disability advocate Chance Dupuis and the University of Winnipeg Disabilities Department presents:
“Sexuality and Disability Manitoba”
A night of discussion, information sharing, and breaking down barriers to access sexual health information.
Tuesday February 13, 2018 from 6pm-8pm (with a meet and greet until 9).
– Seating begins at 5:30 p.m in the basement of the Buhler Centre in the University of Winnipeg
– Presentation begins at 6 p.m
– Panel Discussion beginning at 6:45 p.m
– Meet and greet from 8pm-9pm
Volunteer guides will be made available, ASL interpretation provided, gender neutral bathrooms on site, refreshments will be served after the panel discussion portion of the evening.
About “Sexuality and Disability Manitoba” panel:
An evening of discussion surrounding sexuality, intimacy, and dating for those with disabilities. Learn from the disabilities community about the issues around talking about sex/masturbation/dating with loved ones, friends, family, and health care practitioners. Those looking to enter the health care field are urged to attend but is also open to the public. Hosted by Kinesiology BSc. student Chance Dupuis and is a joined effort with Dr. Michelle Owen from the University of Winnipeg Disabilities Studies department. This event will also be live streamed and recorded for educational purposes.
